The C.R.I.B website. The C.R.I.B instagram.: The C.R.I.B (Community Resources in Brooklyn) is one of 3 Family Enrichment Centers in New York City, and the only one in Brooklyn. The C.R.I.B has many offerings to support families be providing resources, co-designing with the community among other offerings. The website also has calendars from the C.R.I.B and the community, especially right now during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The Child Center of NY: The Child Center of NY began in 1953 as a children's counseling center in Queens. Today, we are a powerful community presence throughout NYC, reaching more than 35,000 children and their families each year. Our mission is to strengthen children and families with skills, opportunities, and emotional support to build healthy, successful lives.
Harlem Children's Zone: Spanning 97 blocks in Harlem, NY, HCZ provides a range of programs including early childhood programs, K-12 programs and 2 charter schools, family and community centers, preventative programs, and health and wellness programs to youth and families, with a goal of breaking the intergenerational cycle of poverty.
The Door: The Door's mission is to empower youth to meet their potential by providing a range of programs and services including health and mental health services, legal help, tutoring and mentoring, career and education classes, and supports for runaway and homeless youth.
